  • I accept a limited number of patients through Aetna and BCBS. I also accept direct pay to allow for personalized, patient-centered integrative care. If you have Aetna or BCBS I recommend reaching out to me to check for current availability.

  • Due to the significant harm I have seen over the years that regular use of benzodiazepines cause, I recommend to my patients to use less risky means to manage chronic anxiety. I don’t take over benzo prescriptions from other providers.

    Stimulants can be helpful for the right individuals as part of a multifaceted approach to treat ADHD and I do prescribe them when appropriate. I don’t prescribe controlled substances for individuals with substance use issues. For safety, stimulants require an in-person visit. Please don’t contact me for an ADHD evaluation if you are using cannabis.

  • As a treating clinician my exams aren't designed to evaluate for the various factors that are needed for a sound psychiatric disability evaluation. The disability department can refer you to an independent evaluator if needed, or you can ask your PCP if they feel comfortable doing this.

  • I treat men and women ages 18+ years old.

  • Individuals with current safety concerns (suicidal, homicidal or active self-harm); individuals with severely unstable personality disorders; or individuals in active substance use. Behavioral issues related to dementia. Such individuals are generally better served with a higher level of care until their condition is better stabilized, or in the case of dementia- by a different specialist.

  • Visits can be done in-person at the Davis Boulevard location, or if determined to be appropriate, by me- telemedicine where you can be in the comfort of your own home. If OMT is part your treatment, due the hands-on nature of OMT, this is done at the Davis Boulevard office.
